Masih dalam suasana long weekend, yipppiieee…..Hari kedua long wiken ini rencananya kita mau leyeh-leyeh di rumah aja sambil beberes rumah. Bosen juga kalau ke mall mulu tiap hari…mau jalan2 ke outdoor playground takut hujan. Ya sudlah…at home indeed.

Di rumah kebetulan ada beberapa pernak-pernik rumah yang udah lama banget dibelinya tapi masih teronggok rapi di pojokan, belum diapa2in. Jadilah si papap diberdayakan untuk ngebor dinding supaya lukisan2 buah/sayuran cantik itu bisa terpasang rapi dinding ruang makan. Enak juga kalau punya suami handy man begini, hehehehe, irit ongkos ga perlu panggil tukang. Tadinya mau sekalian ngerapiin taman belakang yang baru setengah jadi, tapi belum dapat wangsit, bingung mau diapain lagi tuh taman, walhasil batal.

Ga lama baru inget, Rasya tuh sampe saat ini belom sempet nyobain kolam renang plastiknya dia. Mumpung kondisi fisik Tisya dan Rasya lagi sehat dua-duanya, akhirnya emak bapaknya sibuk mompain dua kolam untuk persiapan mereka berenang sore nanti. Untung lagi yeee punya pompa elektrik, ga kebayang deh klo harus mompa itu kolam secara manual, bisa jontor bin ledeh kite punya mulut, hahahaha.

Jam 15.30…dua anak2 kicik itu bangun dari bobo siang, minum susu dulu, trus langsung lanjut berenang di kolam deh. Rasya berenangnya dipakein neck ring peninggalan Tisya dulu. Beda dengan kakaknya, si Rasya langsung gape cebar-cebur. Ga terlihat canggung ataupun takut. Kakinya leluasa menendang-nendang air sambil bermanuver kanan-kiri. Emaknya yang jantungan takut dia keguling X___X. Waktu Tisya pertama kali berenang, dia cenderung malu-malu bahkan statis alias gaya batu, hahahaha. Disemangatin kayak apapun, Tisya nya tetep lempeng aja. Kalo sekarang sih udah gape dia, malahan kadang ga mau udahan berenangnya, hadeeeuuhh *lap keringet*.

Seneng banget liat anak2 ketawa lepas gitu ya…jadi pengen ikutan nyebur, sayang kolamnya kekecilan (atau gw nya yang kegedean??!! Hahahaha).

Tujuh tahun berlalu, and our appearance haven’t change a bit…well maybe except for Ruby, who gained an extra pound or two. But that extra is actually good for her, soalnya waktu kuliah Ruby begeeeennkkk bangeeet , mana tingginya menjulang…persis kayak tiang listrik, hahahaha, piiisssss ya By Kali ini ada anggota 7Ders yang lagi hamdun anak kedua, bumil Debby en Ungy. Lucu deh ngeliat ibu2 hamil, jadi pengen hamil lagi….#eh #uups #nahloh. Lucunya lagi, anak pertama kita semuanya cewe, hahahaha, bener-bener regenerasi 7Ders bangeeettt. Tapi sekarang udah ada cowonya satu, si Mbem2 Rasya

All and all, we have a blast…chit chat, catching up stories, walopun ya…tetep sedikit riweh dengan anak masing-masing, ya pun gimana ya… status kan udah berubah jadi emak2 beranak, hahahaha. See u soon ladies….

At Over Rice, we have the choice of having an Over Rice, Over Noodle, or Ala Carte serving when we order our food. My hubby and I decided to take individual order since we were craving for different menus at that time.

For appetizer, we ordered Tahu Goreng Ala Thai / Deep Fried Tofu Thai Style (15,8k). To be honest, from all of the food we ordered, this cuisine is the one we liked the most. Smooth fried tofu coated with crispy batter served with XO sauce, thumbs up.

For the entrees, my hubby ordered Nasi Goreng Ikan Asing Special / Special Salted Fish Fried Rice (28,8k). There was nothing special I can say about this food, it’s not bad but it’s not the top of the world either.

Meanwhile, I ordered Pad Thai (29,8k). The dish is flavorful, salty savory taste yet a bit spicy.

As for the drinks, we ordered Ice Lemonade (11,8k) and Strawberry Juice (14k).

As usual, I chose my routine treatment which are hair spa creambath, manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow shaping. As for Tisya, I chose her to do strawberry creambath. At first, Tisya looks a bit reluctant but didn’t refuse when the hair stylist (kapster) started to massage her head with creambath cream. She quite enjoy it actually Yeaayyyy……this is what I called girl to girl bonding….hihihi….Btw, she decided to do her nails as well….

Let’s continue on with the food….as starter we’ve ordered Cha Gio (22k), fried spring rolls filled with minced chicken. A portion of Cha Gio consist of four spring rolls and hot and sour sauce as dipping sauce. The rolls was good, crunchy on the outside and tasty in the inside.

Two of my friends ordered the restaurant most popular menu, which is Pho Bo (37k), beef noodle soup served with Australian sliced beef, brisket, Vietnam basil, coriander leaves, onions, and scallion. The soup consist of marrow broth, bone, brisket, and some secret spices. It was very delicious and fresh, makes you want to eat the Pho and lick the bowl until there’s nothing left.

As for me, I ordered Bun Bo Xao (39k), a traditional Vietnamese servings with grilled NZ beef and vermicelli mixed with lettuce, onion, garlic, peanuts, and nuoc mam. Everytime I visited a Vietnamese restaurant, I always ordered this kind of food, it’s my favourite. The food looks like a vermicelli salad accompanied with some vinegar dressing called Nuoc mam. Nuoc mam is a combination of vinegar, fish oil, sugar, and chilli.

Accompanied our meal, Ice Lemon Grass Tea (12k) is served. This beverage is popular with the names ‘sereh’. It is mixed with honey, lemon and also water. It is very refreshing, particularly in hot weather. To make this drink more beautiful, they’ve added lemon grass stem into it.

One thing for sure, this restaurant do served generous portion, really worth the price.

Ultahnya Papap tuh pas Christmas eve alias 24 Desember, walhasil bikin rempong bininya pas beli kue ultahnya jadi desek2an ama yang beli kue buat Natalan decchhh. Ya tapi seru lah ya, berasa perjuangan, hahahaha, lebay. Kado udah disiapin dari 3 minggu lalu, pas moment-nya dengan musim diskon, high quality stuff with almost half price, mantaaabs. Niat hati sih mau ngucapin selamat pas tepat midnite, apa daya….sang istripun ketiduran menjelang jam 22.30, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz……… 0___________0 Ya wes lah, yang ultah juga sibuk bobo pun, kita ucapin pagi2 aja yaaa…… *ngeles*

Sabtu pagi, si istri yang sok2an ngaku wonderwoman udah bangun pagi2 buat mompa ASIP dan nyiapin special breakfast buat hubby. Rencananya mau bikin waffle with ice cream….nyuumm. Eh bentar dulu, apanya yg spesial yak, secara kadang2 juga bikin pancake. Ini yang spesial adalah…..cetakan waffle-nya baru beli, jadinya sekalian test drive, hak hak hak….. ^_^ Adonannya so pasti pake yang instant aja katanya situ wonderwoman kok pake instant biar ga rempong. En voilaaa…. ini lah the so called special waffle….

Suka banget sama cetakan wafflenya, bolongan kotak2nya itu cukup dalem jadi hasil waffle nya bisa bagus kayak waffle di resto2, hohohoho. Kan ada juga tuh cetakan waffle yang bolongan kotak2nya ga terlalu dalem, wafflenya malah jadi tipis. Eeeetttt tulisannya mulai melenceng dari judul postingan, forgive me ;p

Kembali ke laptop…..si papap juga ikutan sibuk dengan nyiapin racikan juice segar di pagi hari. Racikan antara strawberry dan belimbing segar, bikin suasana menyantap waffle nya jadi nikmat. Tentunya belum afdol dong ya klo belum tiup lilin dan potong kue…

Nah jagoan kecik yang satu ini baru muncul belakangan karena the royal prince masih bobo saat keriaan tiup lilin terjadi …

We have planned to have dinner at Sopra. Sopra is an Italian restaurant that serves Italian cuisine ranging from pasta, risotto, various kind of thin crust pizza, and some meat-seafood entrees.  Sopra restaurant located at Pacific Place 1^st level. The restaurant is quite spacious and nicely decorated in dark wood color and some rough bricks interior for the wall. The ambiance creates a high scale fine dining atmosphere.

Both the drinks and the food menu are really extensive with selection, it took us some time to decide what to order.

Finally, we ordered mocktails for the drinks, The Sopra (39k) for hubby and The Pacific (39k) for me.

As for the food, we came up with Margherita Pizza (69k – classic original size 14”), a thin crust pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and olive oil. The thickness of the pizza is just right, not too thin and not too thick. We were satisfied with the pizza since it was freakin’ delicious and very generous with the mozzarella.

Aside from the pizza, we’ve also ordered Scaloppine di Pollo alla Pizzaiola (129k), a chicken escalopes covered with mozzarella, capers, and tomato sauce. It was delicious, the chicken was perfectly cooked, so tender and it didn’t taste dry at all, thumbs up. The chicken was blended well with the sauce, and what I love so much is the capers. The sour taste of the capers mixed well with the tomato sauce creating an acidic sensation in your mouth, mama mia…

By the way, while waiting for the main course being cooked, we’ve been served with a bread basket consisting of 3 different kind of bread (each kind consist of 2 bread) and some bread sticks with a side of butter, olive oil, and vinegar as the spreads/dips.

Overall, we really enjoyed the delicious foods and the pleasant service here. It is a totally recommended restaurant to visit. Too bad we didn’t have the chance to try the desserts since our tummy were so full. Maybe next time then.

Menu spesial yang ditawarkan RM Pagi Sore beraneka ragam seperti ayam pop, ayam opor, gulai ayam, daun ubi tumbuk, dendeng batokok, tahu udang, gulai tunjang, gulai ikan mas, ikan mas bakar, ikan bilis cabe merah, sampai tempe mendoan juga ada. Ga berlebihan jika saya bilang kalau ayam pop-nya (14k) Pagi Sore juara banget. Dibuat dari ayam kampung pilihan, gurih dan lembut dagingnya, dicocol dengan sambal cabe tomat, makkkk nyeeeeeessss. Daun ubi tumbuknya (10k) juga enak, rasa gulainya yang gurih terasa segar dipadukan dengan potongan mentimun segar. Seperti biasa, makanan dolanannya hubby di setiap restoran, ada di RM ini (makanya dia seneng makan disini). Emang apa makanan dolanannya si Papap? Tidak lain tidak bukan adalah telur dadar (6k), tempe mendoan (4k),  tahu udang goreng (7k), dan bumbu rendang (graatiiisss). Hahahahaha….standar abis yaa….tapi hubby emang doyannya makan itu, katanya aja orang Padang tapi soal selera bukan Padang bangeeetttt, hihihihihi. Tapi dia juga makan gulai ayam (13k) kok…nasi putih anget (6k) yang masih mengepul disiram dengan bumbu gulai gurih, mak nyoooossssss *ngileeer*.

Nasi di piringku sudah habis tapi mata ga bisa nahan kalo ga nyobain gulai tunjang (13k) yang seperti memanggil-manggil untuk dimakan *mulai lebaay*. It’s just like love at first bite….tunjangnya dimasak dengan sempurna, empuk bangeett, acung jempol deh. Dendeng batokok dan ikan bilis cabe merah kayaknya layak untuk dicoba, sayang perut kita waktu itu sudah ga muat lagi. Sebagai pencuci mulut, disediakan srikaya khas Palembang.
